SkyTools 4 is compatible with Windows 10/8/7/Vista (both 32 and 64 bit versions). It is also supported on a Mac running a Windows emulator (see below).

Minimum system requirements: the minimum screen resolution is 1366 x 768 pixels. A minimum of 1 GB of hard drive space is required (Starter and Standard Editions).

The SkyTools Imaging or Visual Professional Edition extended star data requires 4.8 GB of hard drive space.

Recommended system: Any modern Windows desktop, laptop computer, or Windows tablet, with 4 GB of RAM and at least 5 GB of available hard drive space.

Telescope Control requirements: ASCOM 5, a freely available third party telescope control platform.

Windows 10 S:  In its default state, Windows 10 S only allows software to be installed via the Windows Store. SkyTools is not available via the Windows Store. The store-only mode can be disabled in order to install SkyTools.

Need to run SkyTools on a Mac?  Consider a Windows emulator. Parallels Desktop for Mac lets you seamlessly run Windows and Mac OS X side-by-side. Other products that work well with SkyTools are VMware Fusion and CrossOver.
