Close Approach of 2020 FA5

CNEOS updated the close approach for 2020 FA5. The close approach was on 2025-Oct-25 01:50±<00:01 UT at a distance of 0.06133 AU moving with V Relative=25.88 km/sec, H=21.25 magnitude. As of November 2 there is a 2082 day observation arc, the Condition Code=0 and the Earth MOID=0.00999311 AU. The solution date was 2025-Nov-02 05:20:23 PST. The NEO 2020 FA5 was reacquired on 2025-10-27 by Mt. Lemmon Survey after close approach. It won't be this close for over 100 years.

It's currently 17.8 magnitude in Aries.
