Guided Tour Object
Information
In
addition to displaying catalog data, the SkyTools object
information window brings together planning information, user
data, and acts as a hub to access other parts of the program. This
window can be accessed whenever an object is present, instantly available
from planning tools, logs, charts, etc. The
NightBar displays the same information seen on the
observing list tool. The
YearBar displays visibility information for an entire
year: 
The
red dashed line is the altitude of M 74 at 10:00 PM each night
(the break is daylight savings time ending). The user just
clicked the Nov button, displaying the best nights to
observe M 74 (on the right) during November.
